Dr Teri McHugh has 18 years of clinical experience working with adults, children and adolescents in various treatment settings, such as private practice and non-profit agencies. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from California Graduate Institute and her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology in 1992 from Pepperdine University and her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology in 1990 from California Lutheran University. She is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.  She has certifications in Chemical Dependency and Behavioral Medicine. She has specialized training in the treatment of chemical dependency and addictions, ADHD/ADD, OCD, anxiety disorders, major depression, sexual abuse, chronic pain management.  She also works with corporations in conducting trainings, coaching, employee assistance counseling and workers compensation and disability evaluations. 

Dr Teri McHugh has experience treating very diverse and chronic patients in various settings, such as residential, outpatient, partial hospitalization and day treatment programs. She has developed new start-up residential programs for various non-profit agencies for youth and adults with chemical dependency issues as well as mental health issues.  She currently is a active member on various associations, such as Los Angeles Psychological Association, California Marriage & Family Therapist Association, National Women Business Owners Association, American Psychotherapy Association, VIP Member of Biltmore Who's Who.
